No reason to convert the already authored DVD files, but you will need to
re-author it....
Demux the original DVD into its elemental streams, so you'd have the a video
stream, and an audio stream....
Using your DVD authoring software, create a new project by adding your video
and audio streams from the original, then add your subtitle stream....all it
should have to do is remux the project, since the audio and video are
already in a DVD spec format....
