Where did I say anything about working "closely together"?
I said that they were "active together".

Were they active at the same time and the same place (England)? If so,
then they acted together. That does not mean they acted closely
together, only that when one was active, so was the other.
For example, both the US and the EU are "active together" to stop Iran
from building nuclear weapons, but that does not mean they are working
closely together.
Perhaps you could explain why people, including educated people like
you, are unable to read a simple English sentence without screwing it
up?
