Your opinion - not fact. Pinnacle and lots of other NLE's adverstise
in the "ad rags" - yet Videomaker gave their best ratings to Apple and
Sony Vegas. They only have so many slots to be "bought" and not every
review out there is up for purchase. I particularly love all the times
I've mentioned positive reviews of OS X "Tiger" which you conveniently
fail to mention. The truth is that there are people, qualified and
experienced, who like things that are different than what YOU like.
That doesn't make THEM (or you for that matter) wrong, except in the
fact that you think THEY are all wrong.

You are not alone in preferring PCs. You are pretty much alone in the
fervor to which you fail to acknowledge anything good about Apple ever,

Apple has significant market share in video, audio and graphics.
That's my point. And not everyone buys them because they are students
or too stupid to know better. Some people actually prefer them and
with legitimate reasons, just as there are legitimate reasons to prefer
PCs.

So does Avid, Pinnacle (in the past), Adobe, Canopus, blah blah blah.
A magazine review should not be one's SOLE source for making a decision
but they are worthwhile for gathering information while comparing
products.
