Perhaps it's because the majority of CD players won't play DVDs. Look
at all the cars with CD players but don't have DVD players. It's so
that they can sell more units, not because it's cheaper. They could
charge the same price for a multi-CD set as they would with a music DVD
and use less materials which mean higher profit. Ever notice that CDs
aren't shipped with MP3s but are all done with the redbook standard?
