The VHF channels used by handie-talkies are very different than the TV
band used by wireless mikes, so interference issues are not huge. However,
the channels used vary from country to country. You cannot even take
a unit licensed in France over to Germany legally and you cannot expect it
to work properly even if you use it illegally. If you are working in a
couple different countries in Europe it can be possible to get the things
licensed for two places... ask your local 2-way shop for the paperwork.
If you're working all over the place, it's more difficult.
