I love that movie. The animation is great and the story is
incredible. Now I collect Ghibli studio production. And,
unfortunately, the less popular ones do not have subtitles.

I agree with you. Even on language I do not understand, I still
prefer to watch with the foreign language on and read the subtitle
rather than listen to a dubbed one. And I also know, the subtitles,
more than likely, seldom produce the same effect as the original.
Well, still better than not knowing it. It got to the point, that I
read subtitles even on mandarin movies. I like the old flicks from
the 60s and 70s Shaw Bros. I know, I know, they are not comparable
to todays movie calibre, but I just like it.
