Of course he's not happy. Why else would he be here so desparately
defending his purchases while seeking praise and affirmation from total
strangers?
You've seen how agitated he gets when anyone challenges him about hd-dvd,
or his previous fixation, LD. These aren't just "things" to him - he
obviously feels they're physical extensions of his otherwise lacking ego -
and therefor any percieved criticism or attack on these items is viewed as
an attack on his very person.
How totally sad. I wonder if he feels the need to be so beligerant when
he sees someone buying Pepsi after he's already put Coca-cola in his
shopping cart.
