Not any more.  Blind obedience to any government is sick.  The  
government is to exercise the will of the people, not impose its will  
upon them.  The corny patriotic stuff didn't work in the early Superman  
movies, and it made Superman sound retarded.  This is what THIS Superman  
movie, while far from perfect, is the best one to date.  At least this  
one has a more mature mind.  The other one sounded like he was twelve  
years old.
