The polarity servo on a standard analog receiver has 3 leads, and when
switching channels the little servo motor switches polarity from V to
H.
Is there any way to make a DVB FTA receiver control this servo motor
when it is scanning a satellite? From what I understand most people
on this group use the analog receiver to control the polarity, and
then use the FTA receiver to scan all the Horizontal channels, then
you would have to scan the Vertical channels, using a DiSEQ switch to
switch between C and KU feeds.
I was just wondering if there was a way to make the FTA receiver
control the big dish like the analog receiver, maybe some kind of
adapter box to make the necessary positioning and servo conversions?
It would be nice to just hit the scan on a certain satellite let her
rip like you can do with small dish.
Thanks for any leads/advice/suggestions,
Jim
