Oh Steve, that is a bit harsh. Ramzi has answered
these questions already.
This idea works a bit the same as a bidding process,
except that you have your product ready when the
selection is done. I just can't imagine that
somebody would invest a lot of money in making
a commercial without getting the job, so what is
left to buy is of lesser quality than a tailored
job. What these guys seem to forget is that even
in this way, the products are single use only,
and nobody wants or even can buy the stocked
clips. The only thing you could hope for is that
somebody will use them to contact you and give
you real money to shoot a tailor-made clip.
