I have a PD 150. It is worth a fair chunk of money, or at was 'til my
idiot former partner used it for tape to tape editing.
I have a Canon ZR65mc that I used for personal trips, family stuff and
situations where the 150 is too bulky or too risky to take. I hate
worrying about a camera.
The ZR65mc took ok video for these uses. However the cmos chip has
again crapped out for the second time. (It appears that the cmos chip
mount in these thing are heat-sensitive and it failrs if the camera is
accidently left on a long time. )
Anyway, do you have a suggestion for a reliable, cheap, compact,
sturdy, camera for these purposes? Few hundred bucks.
