Sony's DCR-HC36 has the SteadyShot system but it says "SteadyShot®
Image Stabilization: Yes ( Super; Electronic)"
Does that mean its not optical? I don't understand and there isn't a
very good explenation of their Steadyshot technology on their webpage.
In recent history, Sony and Cannon seemed to have used
optical while everyone else used digital. But I would
not buy anything without checking out the specific model
first.
