It is actually cheaper to buy an Epson R200 and printable
discs than paying for stick-on labels. And it looks much more
professional. Note that you can get "silver" as well as "white"
inkjet-printable discs. I bought a refurb R200 directly from
Epson for ~ $75 with free shipping. I am now using a continuous
ink supply from an eBay vendor in HongKong (3-day shipping!)
which reduces cost of printing to a few pennies per disc.
I believe that self-stick labels are a long-term failure mode. Slightly
off-center labels have been reported as causing problems in some
players (vibration).

T-Y DVDs burnt at 2x is my solution.
