I have a Panasonic HD plasma

I am currently feeding it with a Pioneer 444/scart (from memory most of
this group had a 444 or 545 back in the day!)

Question. Will I get a much better picture if i swap the dvd player for a
Toshiba SD-360E.

This has a hdmi output.

I keep hearing about this term 'upscaling'. Is this player going to make
use of the fact my TV is HD and give me a better picture?
