I am using a Panasonic NV-GS400 camera (which has an analog in - DV out
option) to convert analog video from my old Hi-8 camcorder to DV for
editing. When I do it, the converted footage all has a line across the
bottom, a few lines wide and a few lines from the bottom, which seems to
contain some varying image data. I spoke to another person with the same
model camera, who has the same problem. Is the an inherent problem with this
camera, or does it happen with all Analog/DV conversions. eg, if I buy a
seperate card to do the conversion, will I still have the problem?
