Um, yeah. If you play 1080i footage on the average 720 LCD it will look
like crap so I'm hardly surprised that a DVD looks _almost_ as good as
crappy HD.
Now try playing both on a decent 1080i HDTV and tell us the DVD is
_almost_ as good.
