I'm now on a low income due to ill health. TV tax = about a weeks
income. Retire next year and my income goes up thank god :). I will
still object to being gouged to pay twats like Ross and Clarkson etc.
a fortune when I can watch 3 other channnels made freely available to
me in the hope I will buy some of the stuff advertised.

My council tax subsidises a golf course, leisure centre, theatre and
arts centre. They all require a fee to use them which I can't often
afford. so yes. There is a lot the council tax pays for I can do
without. I'd like to see it abolished and put on income tax.

I don't mind road tax being abolished and put on petrol. I do 5000
miles a year now where i used to do 25000. I felt the same then. Don't
like flat rate regressive taxes. Don't like that reptile twat in
London and his road pricing either.

I wish I had some of what you are smoking.
Might stop me being a miserable old git.
