My DVD player works fine on a vintage 1980-something Zennith TV that
only has 300 ohms input. Mind you the DVD player is not hacked at
all. When buying the RF modulator, you need to make sure it's
designed to work with DVD players. AFAIK all modulators sold nowday
works fine with DVD players.

The said TV is used in the RV for camping and will remain in use till
it blows up. The TV that I do most of the watching has AV inputs.
