I got a Skyworth from Smiths the Christmas before last and I must have
been lucky as it's always worked a treat apart from playing anything
with a packed bit stream. For playing those I'm using a portable my
daughter was give last year (but that will only play r2 and I can't find
a code for it).
Are there any recommendations for a player (or recorder) that'll do
dvix/xvid and can be made region free ?
