No, that's not what I'm talking about. I prefer the picture if I set
the player to output 720p over HDMI to the way the picture looks if I
output 576p over HDMI.
There's a button on the remote to switch on the fly and the picture
quality definitely changes. I was watching Revenge of the Sith and
thinking that the picture didn't quite look up to scratch and then
realised I had it set on 576p. Changing it to 720p made it better again.
