X2 takes half as long to burn a full disc (25-30 mins), 4X takes a quarter
as long (12-15mins). DVD+RW - if you can use it - is generally faster than
DVD-RW. Write-once discs are much faster than rewritables. I use 16X DVD-R
but not every writer can take them.
