I used a Sony DCR-TRV350 camcorder to convert the 8mm analog to
a DV output. This conversion method was built into the camcorder. I
then used the computer to convert DV files to DVD but I notice that
some stand alone DVD recorder have a DV input so I would suggest
going directly to the recorder if you can find the components.
