Oh, really?
I once had a similar experience, having ordered 50 or 100 "long-play" CDs from
SVP.
These are the disks that store more data (by c 50meg or 100meg, IIRC) than
specified in the CD standards, and after ordering them it turned out that I
couldn't store more than a normal amount on them using the CD-writers I have
here.
When asking about this on Usenet it transpired that this is a known issue with
long-play CDs and that it was very unlikiely I'd be able to accomodate them on
my Mac.
When I emailed SVP for advice they asked me which disks I'd like as
replacement, dispite the fact that I'd already used quite a few of these. They
charged me no extra for the replacment which were delivered by courier very
quickly; when I sent them a cheque towards the shipping they sent it back
uncashed.
SVP have made me a very happy customer,
Stroller.
