The Allofmp3 site has specifically been mentioned by the US in it ongoing
talks with Russia re. its wishes to be join the World Trade Organisation.
Until Russia (and I guess any other nation who wants to join the WTO) reigns
in 'pirate' sites like allofmp3 who don't pay royalties to artist's/ record
companies then they'll be excluded.
An aside I have no idea what its like to live in the States but I think
you're probably better off without a company like British Telecom! ;o) Not
that one doesn't have a choice, it just seems that all the telecoms/TV/ISP's
in this "Angel Isle" excel at being err mediocre ... ;o)
