Not necessarily, as the DVD recorder is still recording a video stream, even
if it's blank. So using the longer-length record setting, the audio
qualityprobably isn't being affected.
In other words, recording 4 hours of just music will use exactly the same
amount of disc space as recording 4 hours of video and audio.
