The Panny **may** have problems with sound if connected to a $ky HD box via
HDMI - there were issues with the "X60" series I think - but check avforums
for more info. I know $ky and Panny were working to resolve the issues.
This MAY have only affected LCD's so please check.
My Hitachi LCD had a problem with a HD box and made an awful sound when
connected via HDMI - Luckily Richer Sounds tried to repair it (changed HDMI
sound card and normal sound card but still the same) but in the end I took
it back and now Have a Sharp 37" LCD and even though my "old" TV was just a
year old the PQ is a big improvement.
