Many of the last gen modern CRTs actually had internal switches to
turn it off, and despite your claim about manufacturing being to far
off each other, such monitors are calibrated in BOTH positions.

So you still need to STOP making assertions as if I or the others
here don't know what we are talking about, as it appears you do, just
minus a few marbles of the complete set.

No... you likely have an electronic generator (that now doesn't
work on today's sets).

I have the laser disc, as well as the DVD, and the soon to be
released HD DVD version is coming at end of month release date.

all test patterns, including an entire range of surround sound test
signals, and now even DTS and THX may be introduced. My shit gets set
up right.

So stick that pot in your ass, adjust it, and see if it makes you
plume.
