I don't know what the user ratings are, but I bought a TruTech from Target 6
months ago for $29.95. It works great. The picture quality is better than
my old Magnavox. The only downside I've noticed so far is that it doesn't
play DVD -R. No big deal, I just use DVD +R for home videos. Unfortunately
I didn't RTM and found out after ordering a spindle of -Rs. But again, no
biggie. I give them to friends who can play them and they love it cause
they get updates on our 5 year much more frequently than they used to. :)
