Wrong AGAIN!
ALL CAV discs could express a single frame still. BOTH FIELDS OF
IT, asshole. The laser set in ONE TRACK, and played it over and over
again. ABSOLUTELY NOT a problem for ANY LD player.
ALL CLV discs could NOT be frame paused, and the PLAYER REQUIRED
what is know as a "field memory" to show a freeze. It ALSO showed
BOTH FIELDS.
There were MANY players released by Pioneer, and subsequently other
manufacturers that had field memories in them. The early ones were
not cheap. Mine was over $1200.
