The other tack not yet discussed is: do you -need- the money? If not
you can simple say that the business relationship is terminiated and
that's the end of it. She doesn't get the footage and you don't get the
money. (And, if another production company comes asking for the footage,
you can tell them your perspective on the whole thing.)
FWIW, most of my computer service contracts for on-site work have a clause
"work is accepted as it is performed". Since I was almost always working
directly with the client's staff, there was no way for the client to
come back a month or two later and refuse payment for bad work.
