Good point. I, too, am sometimes guilty of being US-centric. It's not all
PAL camcorders, but camcorders sold in the EU, I think. As you note, it's a
tax thing -- if it can record from the inputs, it's a VCR as well as a
camcorder, and taxed accordingly.
