Thanks for the help on the question of tape and consequences, and I agree
that the DVX100 series is a well established camera. My intention in asking
the camera question was to find out if I was being an idiot in using the
consumer grade camera as a deck for capturing to harddrive what I shot on
the DVX100. Any comments on that?
