That isn't true. Whenever I go to used book stores, the used comic
books are all always selling for way way more than their original
cover price.
There are lots and lots of used book stores around here, and I've
never yet seen one selling used comic books for lower than their
original price, only way way higher than their original cover prices.
I recently had to pay about ten dollars for one issue of Superman
#233, even though the original selling price on the cover is fifteen
cents.
and the ten dollar price tag was half price of the normal selling
price.
