You're ccorrect. It's store policy even though Wal-Mart tried saying
otherwise and even after I mentioned it was against the federal trade
laws, they said no it's not and told me instead of looking at the
federal trade commission site which has nothing to do with making
federal trade laws,, to get on the internet and look in the dvd
newsgroups, the place that really makes the federal laws, and I'd see
it is against the law for them to accept returns on defective
merchandise they sell.

One of the Wal-Mart employees even claimed that they used to be a
lawyer and knew this because they used to be a lawyer.

Well, either that person is telling the truth or telling lies.

If that Wal-Mart employee l lied about being a lawyer (which I think),
I can't believe anything that person says anyway.

And if that Wal-Mart employee told the truth about being a lawyer,
then if that person was such a good lawyer, what are they doing
working at Wal-Mart?

which mewans I still can't believe anything that person says about the
law.

And I know this dvd newsgroup does not have authority over the federal
trade commission no matter what the Wal-Mart employees and the pro-
Hollywood people in these dvd newsgroups say and think.

Since Wal-Mart was so insistent on that, I checked with the federal
trade commission, and Wal-Mart is violating federal laws by refusing
to accept returns of defective merchandise they sold.

The federal trade commission has already fined several businesses for
refusing to accept returns on defective merchandise they sell.
