My favorite new feature. Take any clip and drop it into the timeline.
You'll get a dialog box that lets you know that the clip your dropping
is not the same setting as your timeline.. And, estimate what it is, and
ask if you want to change the timeline to match the clip.. outstanding!

I was never much into Motion, but it looks nice. More super power needed
to run it I'm sure.

Apple seams to have made the most changes here. There's some kind of
feature that compares newer versions with older version, and adjust
accordingly. This is for people have spent tons of time working on a
sound project, only to have the editor go and change something to
totally mess up your work. It takes the new one, compares with the old
one, and does all the newer changes to the newest file. Awesome!

Yeah. A real bummer on the DVDSP4 part. However, there's also two new
products too.. Some kind of Media Management software (much needed),
and a new HD codec called Apple Rez 442. A general intermediate codec
to convert all these new codecs for each camera like AVCHD, x.264, or
REDcodec.

I have to hand it too the Apple, Avid, and Sony. Their booths at the
show were outstanding!
Adobe's both was a huge disappointment, but PS looked good.
