That question is incorrect, as it's not even the same as the rewording you
give.
If the image takes up more "screen real estate," that means it has more
resolution, and thus more detail. That's the priciple behing anamorphic
enhancement on DVDs.
The 4:3 has more resolution, or "screen real estate" devoted to less IMAGE.
Winfeld even said as such in his original comparison post that the WS DVD
showed more actual picture.
