If you Google it, people apparently put ATM cards in microwaves to burn out
an RFID chip which may be included on the card.
It's got nothing to do with the PIN. Obviously the idea of having the PIN
preprinted on the plastic card, before the magnetic strip is even applied,
makes no sense whatsoever.
