I had two Traxis DBS4500's go the same day, 12 miles apart.
They were the only Traxis units I have in an installed
customer base of 150+ units. Symptoms were low signal
strength combined with no picture or sound. Signal strengths
measured at both dishes and also at the rear of the receivers
was adequate for a watchable picture. I noticed signal strength
on IA-5 seemed a little low (55, normally about 75), but quality
was very poor (35) compared to what I'm used to seeing (90). A
receiver swap to another brand I had on hand (Samsung) still
showed low signal strength, but at least I left the customers
watching TV. (I guess the Samsung is a better receiver?)
Has anyone else lost picture on IA-5 using a Traxis receiver?
