Yep, that PS3 is the only current model that has the possibility of
doing DTS-MA. What you and I don't know is if Sony will make it happen.
If Sony holds with their recent support of the PS3, you can reasonably
expect a firmware upgrade.

But Sony has a spotty rep in this arena, so nothing is certain.

Personally I would like to see Hi Def DVD settle down a bit. Put TrueHD
on all, if that's going the be the real future of audio on them, and
ensure that every player can decode it properly.

I'm not as convinced as you are that DTS-MA will be on there. There is
surely more guessing than facts concerning it.

Meanwhile, I'll enjoy any and all Hi Def dvds they bring out on one or
the other format as I have both covered.
