Time is relative! In 1994 I bought into BetacamSP for my edit suite and
added a d30/pvv3. That gear has paid for itself a hundred times over. I
grudgingly bought a DSR1 which I ended up liking pretty well for tape
length but not so much for image. I still have clients who prefer their
stuff shot on Betacam. I don't blame them! I hate the aliasing that
DVcam does although the image is sharp.
