Reading this thread makes me think that you are just trying to justify using
your PD 150. There is no question that it can produce acceptable image
quality for a number of uses, but it remains of far lesser quality than even
a decent 2/3" chip SD camera, not to mention HD. I can guarantee you that
PD 150 material upsampled to HD is going to be glaringly obvious if it has
to be intercut with true HD, or even HDV, or even upsampled Beta SP or
something from DVCPro or whatever. Whether the material from the PD 150 will
be acceptable is completely a question of what your client needs, but it is
an incontrovertable fact that it will be clearly inferior to any form of HD
or SD shot on professional equipment.
