For the same reason that I never used to *expect* finding a copy of a
New Release at Blockbuster the Friday after it hit the shelves, but I
might HOPE I did if I went on the Tuesday after.
(Also if new Netflix titles show "Long Wait" on opening Tuesday before
turning to "Short Wait" on Wednesday, that can be translated as "We
haven't finished printing out sleeves for all our copies yet, hold yer
horses...")
