TOUR: THE BEST OF SEASON THREE:
ALIEN NATION: THE COMPLETE SERIES (reviewed by Cynthia Boris, overall
score 92/100):
"Powerful plots about hate crimes, exploitation, and societal
hierarchies keep this from being just another cop show."

THE FRESH PRINCE OF BEL-AIR: THE COMPLETE SECOND SEASON (reviewed by
Cynthia Boris, overall score 80/100):
"Long before he was an alien ass-kicking Man in Black, Will Smith
donned his Technicolor dreamcoat as a West Philly homeboy who gets
exiled to uncle's home in Bel-Air. It's a basic fish out of water tale
that is made oh-so watchable thanks to the go-for-the-gusto comedy of
Smith himself."

MAD TV: THE BEST OF SEASONS 8, 9, AND 10 (reviewed by Patrick Bromley,
overall score 73/100):
"I've held a theory for some time that watching the Fox network's late-
night sketch show, MAD TV, is a lot like watching the variety show of a
high school I've never attended: an entire audience seems to be cheering
for characters I'm not familiar with and laughing at things I don't
recognize as funny. Not just that I don't find it funny, mind you, but
that I don't even understand how it could be funny."

THE MIDNIGHT BLUE COLLECTION: CELEBRITIES EDITION (reviewed by Bill
Gibron, overall score 92/100):
"When you toss in the list of stars speaking out - O.J. Simpson, Arnold
Schwarzenegger, R. Crumb, Gilbert Gottfried, Penn & Teller, Debbie
Harry, and Al 'Grandpa Munster' Lewis -- it's a must own trip down a
very mangled and misguided memory lane. Those who remember the show will
be delighted to own these highlights (they are not full episodes -- call
it a clip collection). Others will have their eyes opened by the frank,
funny, and occasionally freakish quality of this carnal cavalcade."

THE MIND OF THE MARRIED MAN: THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON (reviewed by
Patrick Bromley, overall score 83/100):
"Surely, the minds of married men consist of more than wanting to sleep
with other women, and Binder's show might be too quick to forget that."
FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/mindmarriedmanseason1.php
MURDER, SHE WROTE: THE COMPLETE SECOND SEASON (reviewed by Cynthia
Boris, overall score 80/100):
"After a long career on stage and in the movies, Lansbury's move to TV
was a magic charm. She represented a category of women rarely ever seen
on TV (let alone in a starring role), and she brought a vitality and
energy that I wish I had now at my age!"
FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/murdershewroteseason2.php
THE RIFLEMAN: BOXED SET 3 (reviewed by Cynthia Boris, overall
score 85/100):
"The Rifleman has a standard of moral decency that is unheard on TV
today (except perhaps for Seventh Heaven). It's not unusual for father
and son say, 'I love you' at least once per episode. I know, all you die
hard western fans are out there scratching your heads. Morality, love,
and a quick-shot rifle?"
FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/riflemanboxedset3.php
THE SPORTS PAGES (reviewed by Michael Rankins, overall score 54/100):
"Please tell me you didn't actually purchase this. Unless you picked it
up in the dollar bin at Wal-Mart."
FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/sportspages.php
THE TOMORROW SHOW: PUNK AND NEW WAVE (reviewed by Ryan Keefer, overall
score 64/100):
"Snyder didn't really promote the bands that came on the show, but he
did help give them a chance to be experienced in a broader way that
radio wasn't doing for them at the time. Most of the time, he managed to
give them a relatable factor to Joe Sixpack who viewed the show in
Podunk, Kansas."

WORLD POKER TOUR: THE BEST OF SEASON THREE (reviewed by Ryan Keefer,
overall score 83/100):
"There are several shows featuring poker on the market for those curious
about the art of the bluff, and it appears that the other networks are
realizing what ESPN has known for several years; that poker is fairly
compelling to watch, even more so when there's hundreds of thousands of
dollars on the line."
