I need a new DVD/VCR dual deck recorder. I had a JVC DR-MV1S which is the
biggest piece of crap I have ever owned. For the second time it's getting
the dreaded "Loading" message and ceases to work. Last time back to JVC it
was there two months.

I need to get something fairly soon. I don't want another boat anchor.
When searching for reviews, I usually end up at places selling them, so I
don't really trust the reviews.

I dump items from my DVR box to tape and DVD. I want the ability to dump
VHS to DVD (home movies that are fading).

I need a DV input for my Sony Cam-corder to dump digital to DVD.

If you have a reccomendation, or a site, it would be greatly appreciated. I
don't want to spend $500, but price is not the determining factor here.
