I get away with Flash at 640x360 or 480 maximum. Comfortable size is not an
absolute but 320 wide is a pretty sure fit.

Anytime you want to. You'll have to at some point. May as well start there.

I have a garbage can for it.
You will need a convertor to capture composite or component from that. There
are a number of them. Convert analog to firewire transmitted DV.
