You can do that yourself. And there are differences. But, you really
don't want to know that. It is Avid.

You are the one with the obsession. I am just taking you to task on it.
Telling you that it is an AVID product. It is you that keeps on harping,
complaining, etc. saying it isn't. Well, again, I hate to inform you, it
is an Avid. As for name dropping. Not my thing. It's sad that you have
to continue on this way in public. Embarrassing.

Sorry to hear about the Avid problems. I can not speak on them. I can
speak on Avid Liquid (and yes, it is different than 6.1).

Sure.. the numbers aren't broken down into specifics. It could mean
Avids used in many forms of production. To deny Avid's penetration in
Hollywood is to deny the truth. Are there problems in "paradise"? From
what I have read, yes. Is Avid going to work on this? I would think so.
With the aquisition of Pinnacle, it appears that they do have a
marketing plan. Pinnacle's consumer line of NLE's are the most popular.
With the addition of Liquid, they have a mid-range "affordable" product
that can compete in it's price range.

But they would be using their OS for some of the work.

I am using caps to make a point. Avid Liquid is an Avid product. It
works for me and many others that have used it. You on the other hand
came with the ad homenin attacks and blantantly saying that it is not an
Avid product. Well, call it what you want. It says Avid. Does it make
anyone a better editor? No. I have stated that before. It isn't the
product but the person. Someone asks what I use, I tell them. You said
it was a lie. Then continued along that line. There was no lie on my
part. No deception. I only stated that some people (customers) are more
interested in what you use. You have used inuendos throughout. So, I
replied.
