Assuming the unit is designed to use DVD+RW disks, it sounds like the
unit is defective. You might try a full erase with a DVD burner on
your computer and then do a reformat with the DVR3003. Try several
times by cycling the tray. Make certain the tray and disc are clean.
I have an ILO DVDR05MU and it works just fine with Verbatim DVD+RW
discs after I did a full erase and reformat on each disc. There is a
newer model out, the MU1, so I got one to evaluate but right out of
the box it has trouble with the same +RWs. I did a full erase and
reformat and it still acts up. I will consult with ILO Tech Support
because it may be a firmware issue. If not, back it goes to WM.
