Now that's a turn up, everyone else seems to think it's him that has the
claim, not me. Also, they do say they don't cover 'high-value' items if it's
not special delivery. Don't know if a 35 +8 p&p cassette deck counts as
'high-value'!

Always a dodgy business this. Of course, if someone comes to your door
asking for you to sign for a parcel there is no way you're going to be able
to unpack it, plug it in, wire it up to the rest of the system and test it
with the postie waiting around, so you're stuffed. The moment they hand it
to you you're stuffed.
In this case the deck was sent standard parcels. As it arrived 5 days ago
now I honestly can't remember if I signed for it or not as we've had various
deliveries this week, signed and unsigned.
