YES in SP. miniDV in the DV speeds even in SP and especially in LP is
fragile. This is why broadcasters prefer DVCAM, DVCPRO or BetaSX.

Back to DV tape via firewire AND a second backup on MPEG-2 DVD at 9.8
MBps via firewire to the DVD recorder.
