Hi,
I hope this is the right forum for this type of question. I apologize
if it's not and kindly ask for redirection. Anyways,...
I've just inherited my dad's old Panasonic AG1950, no manuals, no
remote. All I want to do with it is use it for basic things like
recording the news every night but I can't even figure out how to do
that! Right now I'm just trying to figure out how to record with it.
It's hooked up properly as I can play VHS tapes with it, and when the
TV/VTR signal is set to TV I can watch cable. The problem is that
everytime I press "Rec" it ejects the tape. I've checked all the usual
things (that the erasure tab is still there, that the tape wasn't at
the end, etc. etc.) but nothing seems to work. I've tried hunting down
the manuals at www.panasonic.com but they don't seem to have the
online version for the AG1950 (the AG1980 is on there though). Anyways
I'm at my wits end so any and all help will be much appreciated.
